Week 3 - AI In UX Design
This week I wanted to take a look into how AI software is beginning to be used in UX design and if we face threats as designers. I found that AI is revolutionising how we create products and systems. Despite some lingering scepticism, UX designers and developers are enjoying the advantages.
AI-driven tools like Maze and Lookback have simplified user testing by allowing designers to test prototypes and collect data on user interactions, heat maps, and click-through rates. Using these insights, designers can identify issues and enhance product user-friendliness. Another interesting software that I found is UXcam. UXCam is a user recording and analytics tool powered by AI, offering designers heatmaps and session replays. It aids designers in obtaining insights into user behaviour, pinpointing issues, and validating design choices.
